     Ruth W. “Ruthie” Durst, 29, of Peoria, passed away at on Thursday, February 23, 2017 at her residence.
     Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at Clary Funeral Home, 3004 West Lake Avenue in Peoria. Reverend Tom Myers will officiate. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at the funeral home. There will be an additional visitation one hour prior to the service on Wednesday. Interment will be at Mt. Hawley Cemetery in Peoria.
     Ruthie was born on June 18, 1987, in Peoria, a daughter of Kenneth and Linda (Gennaro) Durst. She was preceded in death by her paternal and maternal grandparents.
     She is survived by her parents of Peoria; siblings, Nathan (Robyn) Durst, Johanna (Eric) White and Priscilla (Josh) Romans, all of Peoria; many aunts and uncles; and twelve nieces and nephews.
     Ruthie earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree from OSF SFMC College of Nursing in Peoria. She worked as a traveling nurse for the last 5 years. She loved spending time with family and close friends and she loved her dog, Indie.
     She was a member of Prayerview Community Church in Peoria.
     Memorial contributions may be made in Ruthie’s memory to the OSF Children’s Hospital of Illinois.
